Support Nesivos

GET INVOLVED

Be the person who shows up.

Sometimes, one steady and caring relationship can make a meaningful difference in a young person’s life. Nesivos is always looking for the right individuals to serve as mentors, Big Brothers, and Big Sisters for teens and young adults who could benefit from connection, encouragement, and support.

I’m interested in mentoring Submitting an interest form does not guarantee placement. Every potential mentor is carefully considered to help ensure an appropriate and meaningful match.

WHY MENTORSHIP MATTERS

More than a mentor. A trusted connection.

A Nesivos mentor is not a therapist or case manager. A mentor is a dependable, positive presence—someone who listens, spends meaningful time together, offers encouragement, and helps a young person feel valued and less alone.

For a teen going through a difficult period, knowing that someone genuinely cares and continues to show up can be incredibly powerful.

01

Be Present

Spend consistent, meaningful time together.

02

Listen

Create space for a young person to talk without feeling judged.

03

Encourage

Help them recognize their strengths and potential.

04

Build Connection

Develop a genuine relationship through conversation and shared activities.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Learning or sharing a hobby
Helping with practical goals
